Duncan Cartlidge is a Chartered Surveyor and construction procurement consultant with extensive experience in the delivery and management of built assets, as well as providing education and training to a wide range of built environment professionals. Author of several best selling books including; New Aspects of Quantity Surveying Practice, Quantity Surveyor's Pocket Book and Public Private Partnerships in Construction.

• Principal in Private Practice, Covent Garden, London - major new and refurbishment projects for developers, private and commercial clients.

• Commercial management for leading European Civil Engineering Contractors.

• Education - Managing and delivering graduate and post graduate programmes in procurement and related topics. Development of distance learning packages.
